Rosemarie Gauthier is originally from Lévis. Armed with her acoustic guitar, she took to the stage of La Voix in the winter of 2024 as part of Roxane Bruneau's team. As a singer-songwriter with pop/folk influences, this experience gave her the impetus to present her musical creations to the general public. She continued her artistic journey by reaching the semi-finals of the Festival international de la chanson de Granby in August 2024. That same year, she was selected to participate in the Ma Première Place des Arts competition, where she performed her songs at the Claude-Léveillée hall. She is working on recording her first EP, which is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025.

 

Her creative impulses are marked by an intuitive spontaneity: alone with her thoughts and her guitar, the central instrument of her expression. Her lyrics explore love in all its forms and are rooted in her deep need to connect with others.
